About Us

I am Andy Gray, an engineer and teacher by trade. I am a STEM ambassador too.

Due to a medical condition, I am highly photophobic and suffer migraines, so I decided to follow my dreams as best I can. I love space and teaching, so as I can’t use a computer for long periods, or mark assignments, or homework, this is next best thing.

I can teach to my strengths and inspire learners, and still have fun too

My program is aimed at anyone 3 to 105 and depending on their level they can choose the best information or membership for them so everyone can love space.

Amazing News, Due to work I am doing, I have been selected to be a finalist to Milton Keynes STEM awards.. so very proud and honoured.

New award nomination SIG award Shortlisted for Educational Project of the Year another amazing achievement.

Home schooled parents feed back

Andys home education space sessions are brilliant, the crafts and activities are well thought out and engaging. He takes his time and adapts his material and approach to the children’s individual needs where necessary. Logan has learnt a lot during these sessions and has thoroughly enjoyed them, we are looking forward to returning in the new term.

Andy is not only great at science, he is amazing with kids of all ages and with additional needs.
Over several weeks, the children interacted together and learned through play. From water rockets, to straw rockets, to asteroids and generally anything that was throw in the air!
My kids loved it and learned so much!
We really recommend Andy to help any children who want to learn about space through play and crafts!

I am the parent of a 7 year old boy called Dexter. Dexter is severely sight impaired and autistic. Andy has been teaching Dexter for nearly 2 years. Andy started teaching Dexter about space through making 3d model and water rockets. Each time we met with Andy Dexter had more and more questions for him. He would often send him voice messages via WhatsApp.
More recently Andy has started dong fortnightly space lessons with Dexter and his friend. Andy is excellent at engaging Dexter through word searches pictures and conversation. He answers questions upon questions and finds accessible images to support his answers. If Dexter isn’t able to see something Andy is excellent at describing it to him.
Andy came to Dexter 7th birthday party and was a total hit. He did a fantastic job of educating and entertaining all the children. He has a great ability of engaging and including all children no matter of their ability. Dexter friends ranged from 6 to 12 and include children who were fully sighted and
totally blind. All the children had a great time.
Dexter has learnt so much about space that he has even written and published his own book called
Dexter and Gracie go to Space". He is now working on book two.

Please describe your space day and how you believe he lessons went

The day was brilliant, Andy had brought lots of resources to engage the children and there was excitement and enthusiasm around the school because of this.

Andy had thought through three different activities for different age groups which grasped the children’s imagination.

He began with an inspirational assembly about how you can achieve your dreams and ended with an assembly talking about the day – it was brilliant.

Andy worked really closely with me beforehand and the other STEM Ambassadors to plan the day. He emailed over all the things we needed in preparation for the day which was greatly appreciated.

Could space4all do anything better for your learners

We had to fit a lot in, in one day in hindsight we should have done a couple of days.
